Shared Harvest Foodbank is a food-rescue organization that sources, collects, and distributes food to neighbors experiencing food insecurity through a network of more than 100 partner agencies, including food pantries, soup kitchens, and hot meal sites across Southwest Ohio. Shared Harvest serves our neighbors in need through both community partnerships and direct-service programs. In addition to supplying food to local agencies, we help people apply for SNAP benefits, provide monthly food boxes to seniors through CSFP, host an on-site food pantry, and offer monthly drive-thru distributions in select counties. Learn more about our programs below.
Give food, funds, or your time to support Shared Harvest’s mission.
Join more than 2,500 volunteers donating over 10,000 service hours to Shared Harvest Foodbank every year. Volunteers dedicate their time and talents to Shared Harvest’s mission by supporting off-site distributions, packing senior boxes, sorting food donations, and more. Shared Harvest relies on food donations from retailers, wholesalers, businesses, and individuals to help fight hunger across our community. We rescue surplus food from our partners and transport it to our 43,000 square foot warehouse, where it is sorted and distributed through our network of member agencies. Learn more about making a food donation below.
Donations fuel our foodbank and keep our mission moving forward. Thanks to the support of generous donors, every dollar contributed can provide up to 8 meals for our neighbors in need. We offer a variety of ways to give, including online donations, checks, tribute gifts, planned gifts, and more. Learn more about your giving options below.
