Shared Harvest Foodbank hosts convenient, off-site Drive-Thru Food Distributions once per month in Miami, Preble, and Darke Counties.
During these distributions, our temperature-controlled refrigerated trucks are stocked with a variety of fresh and shelf-stable food items to serve approximately 500 families in just two hours.
Distribution dates for each county are listed below.
Drive up to the distribution site at the designated time and wait in the line of cars.
A volunteer or Shared Harvest team member will come up to your car window to check you in for the distribution.
Once checked in, follow the line until you make it to the front where food is being distributed.
Volunteers will load your car with groceries, so you will not need to get out of your car.

No, pre-registration is not necessary. If you are planning to attend the distribution, follow the directional signage to get into line and wait until it is your time to receive food.
Anyone who meets the income eligibility guidelines is welcome to attend the monthly distribution.
No, Drive-Thru Food Distributions have a predetermined menu. Each household will get the same number of items. Menus change for each Drive-Thru Food Distribution depending on seasonal availability and foodbank inventory.
Yes, you can pick up for someone else as long as you are their authorized proxy. Please fill out the proxy form if you are planning on picking up food for someone else. Note that you can only pick up for 4 households total during a single Drive-Thru Food Distribution. This could include 3 households and your own household or 4 households not including your own household. If you are picking up for someone else, please bring a copy of their ID and a completed Proxy Form.
Please do not arrive any earlier than one hour prior to the start of the distribution.
One of our Shared Harvest Team members or a volunteer will come to your car window to check you in for the distribution. If this is your first time attending a Shared Harvest distribution, we’ll complete a brief intake process during this time. You are not required to bring an ID, but it will help the intake process move faster.
The best place for real-time updates about our Drive-Thru Food Distributions is through our Facebook Page. If we need to cancel a distribution, we will post this on Facebook to alert the public. We cannot guarantee that canceled distributions will be rescheduled.
