We only collect information when a visitor completes one of our online forms, such as those for making a donation, hosting a food drive, or volunteering. We utilize Givecloud to process our online donations and do not personally collect any credit card information. No sensitive payment data is stored. Credit card and bank info is never handled by Givecloud or their servers. Givecloud is hosted on Google Cloud’s world-class infrastructure and protected by advanced firewalls, malware prevention, and encryption protocols.
Visitors are not required to subscribe to our mailing list in order to use our website. However, individuals may choose to opt in through the link provided on our home page. Individuals who make donations, inquire about food drives, or submit volunteer forms online will be added to our mailing list only if they indicate their preference to do so on the applicable form.
We take your privacy seriously. Throughout Shared Harvest Foodbank’s more than four decades of service, we have never traded, sold, or shared our mailing list, and we remain committed to upholding that policy.
Data security is a priority, and Shared Harvest Foodbank has implemented appropriate technologies and procedures to help safeguard the information you may provide to us online. We do not use additional technologies commonly used to track visitors’ activity across the internet. Your online activity outside of our website remains private.
