What to Expect

The Market offers a welcoming, grocery store-style experience where neighbors can choose food items that work best for their household’s dietary needs. Available food selections and quantities are based on household size.

Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning for a future appointment, our team is here to help guide you through the process, answer questions, and connect you with additional resources that may be available to your household.

Picking Up for Someone Else

If you are unable to shop for yourself, an authorized proxy may pick up groceries on your behalf.

Authorized proxies may pick up groceries for up to two households per pantry visit.

Please note:

The person picking up must be an approved proxy for the household they are representing.

Each household must be registered separately.

Each household must have its own scheduled appointment, including households being served by a proxy.

A proxy may shop for their own household plus an additional household, or for up to two households if they are not shopping for themselves.

What to Bring with You

If this is your first visit to The Market, please bring a photo ID and a piece of mail showing your current address. If you do not have these documents, you can still shop at the pantry.

If you are returning to The Market, please bring any reusable bags you received during a previous visit so they can be used again.

Yes. While we want you to leave with a full cart with a variety of nutritious fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable food, we do put minor limitations on the amount you can take.

Upon arrival, you will be given a color-coded shopping list from one of our volunteers. This list will have limitations on the number of items you can take from each category based on your household size. For example, large households (4+ individuals) can take up to 8 canned vegetable items while small households (1-3 individuals) can take up to 3 canned vegetable items. This is intended to ensure we have enough food for everyone shopping that day. We do our best to make sure you leave with ample food items regardless of your household size.
